Self-medication
Not for me but for my poor little Honda that has been neglected. The red “brake” light would light up every once in a while so yesterday I read the manual and said I needed a DOT 3 or DOT 4 type brake fluid which I promptly purchased at Auto Zone.
Anyways, as soon as I pulled into the driveway, I opened the hood and was looking for the place to pour it in when hubby pulled in. Turned out my more immediate concern should have been an oil change. I completely lost track of that!
So this morning, I went to the local Speedee outlet and had that done and I also got a new pair of wipers — they do come in handy during those NOLA deluges. I think I heard my car give a big sigh of relief when I drove off.
