Aming Tahanan…Tuloy po kayo!

I have taken to watching the show in the bedroom because hubby doesn’t care for it (I’m being diplomatic ). It’s like American Idol only the contestants are “auditioning” to become the lead singer of INXS. Of course, there’ll be the inevitable comparison to the late Michael Hutchence but that’s to be expected.

What got me interested in watching is because of Mig Ayesa. Hey, he’s my kababayan after all :D. Of the original 15, there are only 4 left and so far Mig is the only one who has avoided being in the bottom 3. I’d be interested to know how many of his votes come from the Phils…I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a huge Pinoy voting block that’s keeping him safe. The Philippine Inquirer has been keeping track of his progress by featuring him in their Entertainment section. That’s enough to rally the Pinoys behind him.

Anyway, hubby refuses to watch the show with me. I still remember him saying, “I supported you when you got hooked on Survivor, The Amazing Race, American Idol and even Big Brother. I’m sorry but I have to draw the line when it comes to this show.” LOL!

Speaking of the other shows, Survivor Guatemala is about to premiere next week and TAR 8 on Sept. 27. The latter will be featuring all-family teams this season. I’m curious how TAR is going to structure their challenges to accommodate the children.
